Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Support Specialist to provide technical support and ensure the stability of production systems. This role involves a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues, collaborating with development teams, and maintaining optimal system performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues promptly.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance.
- Manage incident and problem tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain support documentation and a knowledge base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in production support roles.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Linux/Unix, and scripting (Shell, Python).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and ITIL processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in financial services is a plus.
